GE HealthCare’s Entropy™ accessories aquire the electroencephalograph (EEG) and frontal electromyography (FEMG) signals. The signals are processed into two entropy parameters, state entropy (SE) and response entropy (RE).

GE HealthCare's Adequacy of Anesthesia tools are designed to provide an in-depth, integrated view of a patient's EMG, F-EMG and neuromuscular status. Entropy and NMT products should only be used with GE HealthCare Entropy or NMT products on GE HealthCare monitors (M-Entropy module, E-Entropy module).

All Entropy products are safe for use during electrosurgery and defibrillation, however NMT accessories are not MRI or defibrillator compatible.
