We develop our MRI technology with sustainability in mind from the start. The exceptional durability of our magnets combined with our SIGNA™ Continuum program, reduces the need to manufacture new magnets. This has led to us saving 2.7 million liters of helium to date.¹ ²
Our magnets also use 70% less helium throughout the system's lifespan. When paired with our state-of-the-art AI technology, they consume 30% less power per patient.³ Our magnet manufacturing facilities use minimal fossil fuel and are powered by renewable energy.

Our remote and predictive maintenance services, such as OnWatch™ remote monitoring, help reduce unplanned downtime by 35% with an 11% reduction in on-site repair time.⁵ OnWatch has enabled a 43% remote fix rate with 83% of the issues resolved during the first call.⁶

The Magnet/system carbon footprint are based on screening Life cycle assessment (SLCA) estimated with SimaPro. The CO2 emission is estimated using the weight and the material type of the system components, energy consumption and mix of energy source in manufacturing, assumptions related to recyclability of raw materials, and transportation mode for shipping the system from the factory to the customer.
