  • GE Healthcare Volunteers

Employees of GE Healthcare volunteer in their local communities to help people in need and improve community conditions. Thousands of volunteer hours are donated every year, around the globe. Teams of employees work together on projects ranging from sprucing up schools or parks, to sharing their STEM knowledge in schools and mentoring youth.

GE Healthcare Giving in Communities

  • Wheeling to Help Others
GE Healthcare gives to communities in a variety of ways. As part of a business meeting, the Human Resources team included a service project in the agenda. The group assembled several wheelchairs, that were donated to a local non-profit, and learned more about living with a disability. It was a great team-building exercise with a charitable purpose.

  • Florida Cancer Patients Feel at Home
The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in Florida was a benefactor of a donation from GE Healthcare. The Lodge provides free housing for cancer patients and caregivers traveling away from home for cancer treatments, an important element of access to care.

  • Donated Device Helping Most Vulnerable
A new LOGIQ R7 was donated to the Free Medical Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina to help provide free care and assessments of the most vulnerable uninsured populations who deserve the best care possible.

  • Dancing for Donations One of our engineers in our manufacturing plant in Florence, South Carolina supported local schools by participating in the “Dancing for Our Future Stars” gala. GE Healthcare made a donation to The School Foundation hosting the event and our employee won the trophy for the most entertaining performance.

  • Mentoring in Milwaukee
GE Healthcare employees and the company are investing in future generations with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee mentors2.0 program helping high school students attend college and be career-ready.

  • Windy City Is STEM-tastic
Donations are being made in Chicago to invest in STEM-skill development programs that will inspire and engage youth through the Museum of Science and Industry, Boys & Girls Clubs and Genesys Works programs.
